JULIEN L. BAIN
Julien L. Bain is a Canadian writer and poet, whose life has long been shaped by his lived experience, spiritual convictions, and determination to better understand the human condition. His distinctive voice and natural writing abilities were noticed young, but it wasn’t until his early twenties that he began composing poetry as a private means of expressing and exploring emotions, observations, and truths. In the process, writing became both a refuge and a release for him, allowing honesty to emerge without judgment.
Despite that, Julien would soon step away from writing for nearly two decades as addiction and other challenges got in the way of self-reflection. When a stint in rehab became a period of profound personal transformation, Julien returned to writing. This return would eventually give birth to this somewhat autobiographical collection of inquiries and insight. His work has received multiple Editor’s Choice Awards and been recognized by The National Library of Poetry.
Today, Julien L. Bain lives along with his two older brothers (Haynesley & Clifford) in Brampton, Ontario. When he’s not writing (his true passion), he enjoys spending time with his daughters (Amber & Jessica) and other family members, as well as being outdoors, singing, and actively pursuing the art of playing both classical guitar and classical piano.
